Quote for split level in Mayfield Heights house is empty move-in clean
Two people live in a one story three bedroom, two bath house. The owner is 85 and I am 64 - going in for shoulder surgery on Monday. We need someone - maybe once a month to come in and clean the floors and bathrooms. Perhaps some dusting as well. We need to pay by check or credit card for company reasons.
Hi! I’m looking for a cleaning quote for two vacant homes.
The first home is at 2200 W. 7th Cleveland. It needs a good overall cleaning after we move out, including the floors, bathrooms, kitchen surfaces, general dusting, baseboards, and the inside and outside of the appliances. It does not need an extremely detailed move-out or tenant-turnover cleaning, and the inside of the cabinets and drawers do not need to be cleaned.
The second home is at 2124 Lamberton Cleveland heights. Everything in the home is new, so the appliances do not need to be cleaned. The house has been sitting vacant for about seven months, though, so I’m looking for a thorough top-to-bottom cleaning to remove settled dust, cobwebs, and spiders before we move in. This would include floors, bathrooms, kitchen surfaces, baseboards, trim, doors, window sills, closets, vents, ceiling fans, and any other surfaces where dust may have settled. The cabinets and drawers are also new, so they only need to be dusted or wiped on the exterior as needed—not cleaned inside.
Both homes will be empty. How do you normally price two jobs like this, and what information would you need from me to provide an accurate quote?
